High-strength Pulp Mold Packaging
High-strength Pulp Mold Packaging
Introduction
Pulp mold packaging is an eco-friendly packaging that is molded into the shape required by the product using waste paper such as corrugated cardboard and newspapers to replace expanded polystyrene that is difficult to recycle
Development background
As global environmental regulations gradually expand, the idea of developing eco-friendly packaging using paper is planned to preemptively respond to the heavyweight electronic packaging.
Original pulp mold process has high cost compared with expanded polystyrene, so we developed the new process to improve them.
Key features
Volume can be reduced compared to expanded polystyrene when loading for logistics
It is easy to separate and discharge vecause it is made only of paper when disposing of it
It is used repeatedly through the packaging material recovery system
It can be imprinted or printed if necessary
Different structural designs are applied for each product shape to secure performance of high-weight electronics, and accessories can be packaged
It has improved strength by applying micro cellulose fibers, which are the same chemical composition as paper
It has high water-resistant properties by pulp surface morphology modified
Original pulp mold had the disadvantage of high process costs, but it is reduced through the development of new process
